Why do health insurance companies contribute to the costs?

Prevention is the key to a healthy body. Eating healthy and staying active helps ease the financial burden on our healthcare system. That's why health insurance companies promote preventive programs, which they implement with selected partners.

The framework for this is provided by Section 20 of the Social Code (SGB V). The support applies to closed courses consisting of 10 units. To qualify for financial support, regular attendance of at least 80% is required for the prevention courses. You will receive a confirmation of participation from us. Please note that membership fees themselves are not refundable; only the costs for individual prevention courses are.
